The Job Shop and Technical Staffing is looking to hire a CMM Technician in the Williamsburg, KY area.
Primary Duties:
1) Perform first/last piece layouts of new or revised products and prepare detailed reports of findings.
2) Perform capability studies as directed by the customer and the Quality Assurance Manager
3) Perform gauge repeatability and reproducibility (R & R) studies, and analyze results, for personnel and equipment used to perform quality verification activities
4) Suggest improved measurement methods, gages and holding fixtures as required for in process part validation
5) Perform routine care, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment
6) Perform physical tests on plastic material as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager
7) Maintain a database for calibration records
8) Maintain and manage lab schedule including workload and meeting deadline commitments
9) Collect "out-of-calibration" equipment (or notify owner) to prevent use of uncertified instruments =
