Distribution Receiving Scheduler

SUMMARY The Receiving Scheduler is responsible for scheduling the receipt of product into the Distribution Center. They provide administrative support to the Receiving Department and acts as a liaison between the company and vendor drivers.
PRIMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. Provide basic administrative support to Receiving Department: phones, messages, emails, mail delivery, and filing.
2. Act as liaison for vendor drivers, including scheduling, door assignments, dispatch communication, and check in and check out of drivers.
3. Completes all receiving reports, including creation and updating, weekly and monthly; Drop, Cases Received, Receiving Cases, and Stocking Reports.
4. Coordinate Miss-Ship Process.
5. Checks and Balances on PO’s, ASN information, Debit Memos, and Payment Processing with AP.
6. Completes all required training.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. They must have a minimum of 1 year of shipping and/or receiving scheduling experience. Must be proficient in MS Office, with expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Possesses excellent communication skills, with ability to communicate orally and in writing across multiple business lines throughout the company, and with customers and vendors.
2. Ability to move equipment generally weighing 0 - 40 pounds.
