Job Opportunity: Event Staff – Los Angeles Fleet Week 2025

Location: San Pedro, CA (Must live in or near San Pedro)
Event: Los Angeles Fleet Week (LAFW) 2025
Dates: Friday, May 23 – Monday, May 26, 2025
Pay Rate: $19 per hour (option to pay a higher rate for Lead positions)

Position Overview

We are hiring 10-15 event staff members to support Los Angeles Fleet Week 2025 at the Port of Los Angeles. This four-day event requires reliable and energetic individuals who can assist with various event-related tasks, ensuring smooth operations and a great experience for attendees.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tents, tables, and signage.
• Provide crowd control and directional guidance for attendees.
• Support exhibitors, vendors, and event organizers as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event areas.
• Distribute materials such as brochures, flyers, or promotional items.
• Monitor assigned event areas and report any issues to Leads or Supervisors.
• Follow safety protocols and assist with emergency response if needed.

Requirements

• Must live in or near San Pedro, CA.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior event or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
• Availability to work all four days of the event.

Additional Details

• Lead positions may be available at a higher pay rate.
• Shifts and exact working hours will be assigned closer to the event.
• Uniform and dress code details will be provided before the start date.
