We have an exciting opportunity for a new position within our team, and I wanted to check if you might be interested. Here’s a brief overview of the role:
Work Shift (days per week, start/end time, and any OT): 1st shift 16 an hour 6am - 230p
2nd shift
2pm to 10pm
Pay Rate: $17.75
PPE: MUST have steel toed boots/shoes – ALL Other PPE is provided
Key Responsibilities:
Follow standard operating procedures, company policies, and safety regulations.
Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) properly.
Operate equipment and perform tasks as directed by your supervisor or experienced personnel.
Monitor product quality during the production process and report any compliance issues.
Perform start-up and shut-down activities as directed.
Participate in cross-training for various plant positions.
Maintain accurate product counts and documentation.
Keep the production line organized, clean, and free of hazards.
Support the Autonomous Maintenance Program by greasing, adjusting, or cleaning parts.
Achieve safety targets set by supervisors and management.
Train new Laborers and Manufacturing Associates.
Perform general labor duties as needed.
Attend safety meetings and conduct safety audits.
Maintain a good attendance record and punctuality.
Skills and Experience Required:
Ability to follow safety, quality, security, and operational procedures.
Strong attention to detail.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Ability to multitask and monitor multiple processes.
Experience with SOPs and chemical manufacturing preferred.
Basic math skills and flexibility in changing priorities.
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
Competency in safety rules and regulations after training.
Understanding of lock-out, tag-out procedures and hazard communication policies.
Working Conditions:
20/20 vision or corrected 20/20.
Strong communication skills.
Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting up to 70 lbs., and working in varying temperatures.
