Position: Warehouse Operative (0-3 Years of Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to handle products efficiently and safely.
- Select and retrieve products from warehouse racking according to customer orders.
- Label products using SOS label technology and ensure accurate placement of labels.
- Palletize products according to standard procedures, avoiding improper stacking (e.g., heavy items on light items) and ensuring labels are properly positioned.
- Stage pallets for loading and wrap products securely on the dock.
- Navigate various warehouse environments (Dry, Cooler, Freezer) while hand-selecting orders.
- Operate SOS units for label creation and follow all SyscoSafe preferred work methods.
- Conduct pre-and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain cleanliness and adherence to sanitation standards set by Sysco and AIB (American Institute of Baking).
- Work until all products are accurately selected and loaded, including possible overtime on holidays and weekends.

- Ability to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels as per production standards.
- Capability to work rapidly and consistently throughout the shift in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate accuracy in meeting or exceeding cases-per-error goals.
- Develop and apply a solid understanding of product handling, placement, and inventory control.
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English for job and safety requirements.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs regularly.
Preferred Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Reporting To: Night Warehouse Manager/Supervisor.
