Job Title: Final Mile Lumper and Loader
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Job Overview:
We’re hiring Final Mile Lumpers and Loaders to support our warehouse operations. This role is hands-on and physical, requiring attention to detail, speed, and the ability to work as part of a team. You’ll be responsible for unloading inbound trucks, preparing routes for final mile deliveries, and loading outbound trucks accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload inbound freight manually or with pallet jacks
- Break down and sort freight by stop or route
- Shrink wrap pallets and stage freight in designated loading areas
- Load delivery trucks in stop order, ensuring weight distribution is safe and secure
- Handle returns, damaged freight, or repacks as needed
- Communicate with supervisors about delays, misloaded freight, or safety concerns
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a lumper, loader, or general warehouse worker preferred
- Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned schedule
- Steel-toe boots required
- Basic understanding of warehouse flow and truck loading preferred
Work Environment:
- Standing, bending, and lifting throughout the entire shift
- May work in a hot or cold warehouse depending on the season
- Team-oriented environment with clear productivity expectations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15 - $17per hour
