Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Stand-Up Forklift Driver to support our Shipping Department. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of pallets throughout the facility, accurate order staging, and general warehouse support. This is a replacement role with strong potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and rider pallet jacks to transport materials
• Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure safe operations
• Stage fruit bins and pallets for inspections, inbound receipts, and outbound shipments
• Load, unload, and rack products as needed
• Follow maintenance schedules for forklift and scanner equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• Adhere to safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies
• Label pallets accurately and ensure loads are properly secured for safe transport
• Utilize scanning systems to maintain accurate inventory and pallet tracking
• Report any facility or pallet damage promptly
• Assist with pallet down-stacking and restacking
• Participate in weekly and monthly inventory counts
• Support additional warehouse operations as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of certified forklift operation experience (stand-up forklift experience is required)
• Familiarity with AS400 system is a plus
• Strong understanding and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Effective verbal communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and move 25 to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment (34°F – 42°F)
