FORKLIFT OPERATOR
 
Position Type: Temp to Hire
Position Location: Bowling Green, OH
Position Shift:  1st Shift:  5:30am -1:30pm, Monday-Friday
Position Salary:  $19.00

Summary:
Experienced forklift operator skilled in safely handling, moving, and staging heavy precast concrete products and raw materials in a fast-paced production environment. Ensures efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all material handling operations while supporting production schedules and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport precast concrete forms, rebar, molds, and finished products.
  • Inspect forklift and equipment daily to ensure proper operation and report any maintenance issues.
  • Assist with staging materials for production, storage, and outbound shipments.
  • Work closely with production and shipping teams to ensure timely movement of products.
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols for heavy lifting, rigging, and load balance.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas to support safe and efficient plant operations.
  • Perform basic inventory checks and record material movements.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience operating forklifts in an industrial or precast concrete environment preferred.
  • Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
  • Team-oriented and dependable work ethic.
