MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Position Type: Temp to Hire, Full Time
Position Location: Medina, OH
Position Shift: 1st Shift, 5:00am-1:30pm Monday-Friday
Position Salary: $22.00-$24.00/hour
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of process and facility-related equipment. Equipment inspection includes preventative maintenance (PM) and associated documentation.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance experience.
- Working knowledge of safety protocols such as LOTO, SDS, and OSHA regulations.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment utilizing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to use hand and electric tools.
- Very good communication skills.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities at predetermined intervals.
- Follow a strict PM schedule.
- Perform basic facility maintenance such as changing light bulbs, ballasts, general office support, etc.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, repair equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area.
- Manage and record work using a computerized PM and Work Request System
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
