Job Summary
The Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and staging customer orders in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. This role requires operating warehouse equipment, working at elevated heights, and consistently lifting heavy products while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and assemble customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order selectors
- Work at elevated heights while selecting product from racking systems
- Wrap, label, and stage completed orders for shipping
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and warehouse policies
- Meet productivity, accuracy, and quality standards
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred or willingness to be trained)
- Comfortable working at heights and on elevated equipment
- Ability to consistently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or order selection experience
- Experience using RF scanners or voice‑pick systems
