Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Pump Assembler to join our team. This role involves assembling and testing pumps with precision and care. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, experience using hand tools, and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble pumps according to specifications using hand tools.
- Work alongside an experienced assembler until fully trained and comfortable working independently.
- Use precision measuring tools such as dial calipers, dial indicators, and micrometers.
- Test each pump by filling with water and checking for leaks.
- Lift and handle components weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in assembly or working with mechanical equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring instruments (dial calipers, indicators, micrometers).
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively during training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pump assembly or similar mechanical assembly work.
- Familiarity with leak testing and quality assurance processes.
