SUMMARY
Leads team of associates in scanning, pulling, loading, and inventory of packs, pallets, and/or carts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following.
Using customer directed pick list, locate and obtain product from designated location (Warehouse Location/Bar Code).
Verifies File Number and Customer I.D. from pick list and load tag. Accurately counts and retrieves proper container. Places product on pallet or packs product on cart according to pick list.
After locating desired container(s), retrieve the desired quantity. With scanning gun, scan the bar code on the load tag. With the computer keyboard enter the location of the product. Again with keyboard, press enter (default BIN).
After product information is displayed on your computer monitor, press end (for number). Press one (1) and enter the quantity remaining at that location, press enter. Manually write the remaining quantity on the load tag.
Scan shipping load tag and place tag on cart or pallet.
Continues placing product accurately on pallet or in cart until pick list is finished or cart/pallet is full.
Moves product to next product area or to designated location (holding area awaiting shipment) either by pushing/pulling cart or by tow motor.
Inspects containers at each step of packaging process to assure quality.
If applicable, operate tow motor to retrieve product.
If applicable, delete load tags when load tag completed and process billing.
Housekeeping.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
If applicable, Pro-Pak Industries Powered Industrial truck certification.
