Position: Sit Down Assembler (Seated Work Environment)
Location: Mentor
Hours: Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with an ½ unpaid lunch.
Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This position primarily involves seated assembly work, building and inspecting small mechanical components in a clean, climate-controlled production environment. Candidates should be comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and production standards.
Responsibilities
· Assemble small components and subassemblies using hand tools and work instructions
· Read and follow assembly drawings, work orders, and production documentation
· Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
· Package completed products for shipment or the next stage of production
· Maintain accurate production records and documentation
· Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
· Report quality concerns or production issues to supervision Qualifications
· Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred
· Ability to work with small parts and maintain attention to detail
· Comfortable sitting for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks
· Ability to follow written instructions and quality procedures
· Basic computer skills are a plus
· Strong attendance and reliability
Physical Requirements
· Primarily seated position throughout the shift
· Frequent use of hands and fingers for fine motor assembly work
· Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 pounds
· Ability to visually inspect small parts and components
Schedule
· Full-time
· Monday through Friday
· Overtime available based on production needs
