Skilled Grinder

We are seeking candidates that have Grinding experience. You must have 3 years minimum in the metal manufacturing industry and specifically with Centerless, Blanchard, Surface and/or Hypro Lapping grinding experience. This requirement includes large machinery- Not handheld grinders.
Responsibilities Include:
Ability to read and follow work instructions and general policies. Ability to read a tape measure, basic math understanding.
Requirements:
Double disk, Infeed, Centerless, Blanchard, ID/OD, Surface and/or Hypro Lapping grinding experience required.
Preferred capability of using a variety of measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers.
Hourly pay is negotiable and will be commensurate with knowledge and experience.
This is a 1st shift position- Monday through Thursday 7am-5:30pm with overtime opportunities on Friday.
Duties:
- Operate grinding machinery to fabricate parts according to specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers and micrometers for accurate measurements.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise grinding requirements are met.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills:
- Proficiency in double disc grinding techniques, including Blanchard or surface grinding.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with sheet metal.
- Experience in blueprint reading is preferred.
- Competency in using precision measuring instruments like manual micrometers, gages, manual calipers.
