Warehouse - Weston Ohio
$18.50/hr Paid weekly
Monday - Thursday
6 am - 4 pm
Responsibilities:
- Follow all documented procedures and work instructions for warehouse operations and specific tasks.
- Maintain a safe working environment, promoting safe work practices on every shift.
- Keep the warehouse clean as safe while optimizing space utilization.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment with preventative maintenance practices.
- Promote and enforce fork truck safety; collaborate with drivers to ensure adherence to safety practices.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Review and issue quality alerts as needed, monitor packaging materials and integrity, and ensure packaging standards are met.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup, including tasks like loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping.
- Receive and process warehouse stock, including unloading, labeling, and storing products.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or process to supervisors.
- Review, track, and implement corrective actions for issues found during line audits, quality audits, and process audits.
- Ensure 5S principles (Sort, Straighten, Sanitize, Standardize, Self-Discipline) are implemented and maintained in the warehouse.
- Assist with problem-solving and addressing operational concerns during shift.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with management and coworkers.
- Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a warehouse worker.
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
- Possess computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word Excel, and SAP Systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to lift 40 lbs repetitively, occasionally up to 50 lbs, and stack pallets up to 6 feet high.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Forklift Certification
