Forklift Operator – Lumber Yard Experience Required
Lakeland, FL
$18.00 per hour
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday (occasional Saturdays)

Job Summary
Liberty Staffing is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator with lumber yard experience for a company located in Lakeland, FL. This position requires someone comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor yard environment handling lumber and building materials. Candidates must be able to read a tape measure accurately and lift heavy materials as part of daily duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift safely to move, load, and unload lumber and building materials
  • Read and measure materials using a tape measure accurately
  • Pull and stage orders for shipment or customer pickup
  • Load trucks and organize materials in the yard
  • Assist with general yard duties as needed
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

Requirements

  • Previous lumber yard experience is required
  • Previous forklift operating experience required
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately
  • Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working in an outdoor yard environment
  • Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Possible Saturdays depending on workload
